MainEntries are part of many corinis modules see Modules/Forum or Modules/CascadingMainEntries

A main entry specifies an element in corinis which holds other elements (entries/mainentries). Depending on the module a main entry may behave like a folder (Cms) holding other folders and documents or be more specialized like in the PhotoLibrary (the libraries) or the Core module (groups)
